A simple disk sector error can corrupt a project and no software is immune to something like this. I've also been using Neat Video since it came out for Resolve and haven't had any problems directly associated with it.
In fact, I've used lots of different post production software throughout the years and the latest incarnations of Resolve have proven to be a lot more stable than most. It's one of the leading color grading programs in the world and many colorists, like myself, have been using it for several years, on a daily basis, without major issues.
